Short Stories
Stories one writes are all bits and pieces from here and there.  Sometimes one just "imagines" what must have happened or how it could have been...

Alliwishus  Alliwishus (All I Wish Us) needs an illustrator.  He wants to tell more stories about the children he "knows" throughout this world.  But I need help in making him more than just a figment of my (and my mother's) imagination.  Are you an illustrator who "knows" Alliwishus?
The Man in a Muddle in the Middle of the Mums: A Dirty Story  This was a garden club challenge...romance and gardening?
John Henry  One of the first stories I ever wrote.  My cousin had just such a friend.

Novel installment

I am currently working on a romantic historical novel set in West Alabama the early 1800s, based on the Creek Indians.  As I process all the research necessary for such a book, a few articles will probably appear here on these topics.  Perhaps an agent will spot this and eagerly snap up the opportunity to actually publish...in hardback...this romantic novel.  The working title is "Swimming with Serpents."  I will share Chapter One with you here.  Remember this is just the first draft of a potential 400 page novel.

Genealogy
Genealogy
In this section you will find information on family lines that I have researched that are pertinent to my family.  I do not have the individual proofs...only the working files that I have made available.
This chart demonstrates a few of the connections. You will also find genealogies of our branches listed on this website.
Southern Family
This Southern Family has participated in momentous events through history.    There are pictures that may be useful to many. When my children's eyes started glazing over when I talked "genealogy" I decided to write a history/cookbook of our families.  I put these on a CD so that the pictures would not be lost and all who had the CD would have the information and the pictures.  These are chapters from that book.
